These mountains look a little sketchy the color too me doesn’t match the rest of the cards but makes the mountains stand out a bit, the gray and brown is what I was going for so it can look a bit smoky, the rays of light seemed to have help, let me know what you guys think.

If you are trying to make the mountains look more colorful, but leave them dark at the same time, then what I have been told to do is use complimentary colors together (for example, color green, and then layer red on top of it). It is like making a black out of other colors, but it is brighter and (I think) prettier than just using black or brown. You said that the color did not match the rest of the cards, and the rest of your cards are pretty colorful, as I remember. You may have already thought of that, but that is what I thought of when I saw the mountains. So that may help :)
